The duration of the painting session can be as long as it suits your schedule upto a maximum of 1.5 hours. 

Time filler items can be kept available to offer to children who complete too quickly. (Please see below for details on time filler items).

Extras:

In addition to the pottery items that have been painted by the children, there are 2 extra items that can be purchased for your child’s party.

1. Signature piece

You could purchase an extra piece that will be decorated by me with the fingerprints and names of all the children who attended your child's party. Mum, dad and other members of the family can join in as well to create a special reminder of your child's birthday. A special birthday message such as "Happy 6th birthday Adam" can be added to the piece. (If there is still space available after all the finger prints have been placed and labelled.). Space permitting there will also be additional decorating of the piece to make it more attractive.

The signature piece will be an extra item of pottery that will need to be purchased in addition to those being painted by the children. 

The following are the items that can be chosen as signature pieces:

** Smaller piece. There might not be space for the birthday message or for further decoration.

2. Personalising the children's pieces
Normally the pottery pieces that are painted by the children will have a number at the bottom of each piece for me to identify to which child it belongs. 

For an additional cost of 75p a piece you could make it a more memorable reminder of your child's birthday by having something more meaningful written  - such as "Made by Lucy at Adam's 6th birthday party". (Will depend on the size of the piece and the space available. May not be possible for all pieces)


Prices:

The cost to you for the party will be the price of the unpainted pottery items that the children paint + a £25 callout charge + any extras that you choose.

The total amount of your order including the callout charge must be minimum £65.

There is no minimum number of children required. It is your choice whether you would like to call a few or many children, have 1 big or 2 small items per child. Adults can join in as well!

The prices of the non-jewellery unpainted pottery items range from £4 - £13. The lowest price items (£4 - £5) have been offered mainly to give parents flexibility in organising their child’s party. These are small pieces and children might finish them quickly depending on the age of the child and the level of detail they put into their painting. They are mainly for those parents who would like to give the children more than 1 item to paint or would like to have a mixture of painting and games at the party. 

Choosing the pottery items:

There are 2 options available for choosing your pottery items:

1. You could specify an upper limit per piece and I will bring a selection of pottery items upto that price with me. The selection will be dependant on current stock and I could give you an idea of what will be brought before hand. Whilst there will be a selection of items, each item will have different quantities and so it cannot be guaranteed that all the children will be able to get the same item.

2. If you are keen on choosing your own pottery items then you could choose upto 3 items from the available pottery items. 


Time filler items:

Often it is hard for parents (especially when there are going to be very young children) to judge how long an item will keep each child busy. For such situations you have the option to ask for time filler items to be made available. These are small pieces that are priced at (£2 - £4) each and I will keep some of them available over and above the ones that have been selected by you. These will not be shown before hand to the children and only if required and with your approval will they be given out to children who feel they have "finished" their piece. Those which are not given will not be charged. Time filler items can vary and depend on the current stock availability. There isn't a selection process for them.

What is included in the final price?

The following is included when you book a pottery painting party:

-          Unpainted pottery items chosen by the children.

-          Guiding the children to paint their item.

-          Providing colours, brushes and tools like stamps, sponges, etc.

-          Upto 1.5 hours of painting.
