Jewellery Making Parties

Jewellery parties are delightful for little girls as they get to combine two of their favourite interests...painting and jewellery. At the party the children will paint their pottery beads with the colours of their choice. They then string together their necklace choosing from a range of fun and pretty plastic, glass and metal decorative beads that will accompany the pottery beads that they have painted. |

They will actually put together their whole necklace at the party. I will temporarily close it on the day and then take it away for glazing and firing of the beads that have been painted. Once the beads have been fired I will re-string the necklace as they had done so. The necklaces will be strung using proper beading wire and will have a clasp and ring at the ends. Each child will have a beautiful necklace to remind them of your child's birthday. |

You could also combine a regular pottery painting party with a jewellery party if you would like to provide children the option of painting something else.

Safety:
Please note that these neckaces are meant to be worn as decorative items and should not be worn when playing. The pottery beads and some of the other decorative beads could break if hit with pressure. Hence it is advised not to wear them when playing and only for dressing up.
Prices:
Prices are based on the number of pottery beads that are selected for each necklace. There are 2 kinds of price combinations:
1. With a pendant - The necklace will have a centre piece pottery item and may or may not have additional pottery beads with it.
2. Without a pendant - No central pottery piece is chosen. Just a selection of pottery beads.
In both options the decorative (plastic, glass and metal) beads to accompany the pottery items are included in the below prices. The children will be able to select their own decorative beads. Most of the decorative beads will be unlimited. However, some more decorative plastic beads or metal spacers will have a limit on the quantity that can be used.
