Sunken Imprints (Ceramic Tiles)
The tiles where the handprint and footprint are sunken into the tile are ceramic tiles. Pictures of sample tiles can be viewed on the tile pictures page.

 

The ceramic tiles can be coloured with your choice of a glossy colour. They could be left simple and classic with only the child’s prints or you could personalise your child or baby’s tile by choosing from a range of different options to decorate them. You could choose just one option or mix and match them.  The choice of how you would like your tile to look is yours.

 

 

  

Motifs

The tile could be decorated with raised motifs alongside the imprints. There are selections of motifs to choose from. They could be specific to boys, or specific to girls or then just neutral motifs that could be used for either a boy or a girl. The motifs can be chosen to suit a baby or an older child.

  

 

Poems

 

You could have a poem placed alongside the print. The poems are lovely ways to personalise your tile and make them special. They are also wonderful for creating an extra special and personal gift for someone to whom your baby is dear. The poems too are fired in the special oven and become permanent parts of the tile.

Pictures  

There are a range of pictures that you could choose from to place on your imprints tile. They can be gender specific or neutral. They could be the only means to decorate your tile or you could have just a few to complement another option to decorate the tile.  The choice is yours. Birth Details  

You could create an extra special and personal memory of your baby by placing her birth details alongside her imprints.  The memory of those birth details that seem imprinted in your mind and are rattled out at every opportunity, do get a bit foggy as the years go by.
